Usually a Celeron 2.4GHz or better processor is minimum with Pentium chips preferred for higher frame rate cards.
Minimum 256MB of DDR RAM although 512MB is becoming the norm.
For 2 weeks recording, available storage should be at least 120GB for a 4 channel system. An easy rule of thumb for storage is to allow 30GB per camera. Therefore a 16 channel system would need about 480GB. However if you plan to record in high resolution, be sure to check with the manufacturer as this will greatly increase the storage requirements.
Your CCTV digital system will need a video capture card package that should include the dvr board, software CD, dongle cables with BNC type video connectors and the User Manual.
